How to prepare
One of our body's main jobs is to heal. It loves to heal; it wants to heal! Many people generally do not treat their body's well, or some circumstances have led them down a path of pain, disease and illness. Often we just don't give our body's the best chance of healing due to the stress the body is placed under.
So, in the intensive lead-up, let's prepare your body as best as possible for optimal healing.
Consider what you are eating a few days before - whole fruit and vegetables, grass-fed or even better organic meats. Keep meals light and fresh. Meat and salad, stir fries, whole fruit, good fats like nuts, seeds and avocado.
Increase your water intake - water is liquid gold, it not only hydrates it also helps your body's detoxification process.
Be well rested - 8 hours sleep the night before is ideal.
Prepare to spend time connecting to you - journaling, meditation will all be encouraged during breaks.
You may have, or want to find a few short meditations you can listen to during a break and/or find a breathing technique that works for you.
Arrive on time! In the morning and back from breaks. We want you to get the most out of the day and if you arrive late, you will miss out and also disturb other people in the healing space.

What to wear
Comfortable loose clothing (please don’t wear jeans or short skirts/dresses. Yoga wear and sports wear are fine.
Bring a jumper and socks. Layer up. Feel free to bring a blanket, but we will have some here for your use. Sometimes during healing your temperature may change (you may get hot or cold) it is difficult to set a temperature to suit everyone perfectly, especially this time of the year.
Wear shoes that are easy to take on and off.
A hat if you want to go for a walk outside.
Ear phones if you would like to listen to your own music or meditation during breaks.
Sketching pen and paper, a book that you’re reading if you think that is something you would like to do during breaks.

What to expect
Healing is not always instant..Often it can take a little time as it is a process. The day is not guaranteeing any massive healing miracles, it’s an intensive continuation to what we have been working on. Or if it’s your first time receiving Spinal Flow it is a great kickstart to your healing process. With each session, we will be removing layers of stress and tension that has been stored in your body. There may be times where you may feel more pain and tension than you originally had or different pains and aches that you have never had before. This is very normal and all part of the healing process. Emotions may come to the surface which is normal. Sit with it and feel it and then release it, let it flow out x During the session, I invite you to just relax, breathe and let your body do whatever it needs to do to release and heal. You may experience twitching, coughing, yawning, laughing, crying, screaming, shaking, all of these are absolutely normal and just your body’s way of releasing the layers of stress from within. Please remember you are in a safe and supported space to do however you need to do you x
It is important for you to surrender to your body and your mind. Surrender and trust in the wisdom of your body and know that it is doing exactly what it needs to do is sometimes confronting, however, we do complete some exercises to aid you in your connection to you!
We will have 3 x 30 minute breaks at morning break, lunch break and afternoon break times,. We invite you to use these break times to just do whatever you need to do for YOU! Keeping in mind to be back at least 5 minutes before the next session commences.

Aftercare
Remember, the healing process has only just started when you get off the table. You may feel light headed, a bit dizzy so please take your time getting up when you're ready.
A little walk around during break time is beneficial as we've opened your foundation gateway, the gateway of movement so the last thing you want to do straight after a session is go and sit down for half an hour..
Please help yourself to the Hi-Vibe water available for all you during the day. If thoughts, visions, realisations or emotions have presented during your session, may I invite you to spend some time to journal on these. There are journal pages in your workbook.
It is recommended to spend some time connecting to nature whilst in this beautiful little bubble... go lay on the grass in the yard under the trees, out in the open fresh air where you’re able to see and experience the beauty of all that nature has to offer.
It is really important to drink plenty of water, especially in the first 48 hours after a session, just to help move things and flush things out a lot faster. It is also really important to BE KIND TO YOURSELF.!
You may feel that certain aches or pains that you had prior to your session have disappeared, but appeared somewhere else. Besides this being normal, this is also awesome!! This is showing that whatever has been stuck, has shifted and coming to the surface to release. The same can be said about certain emotions that may surface after your session. These emotions come to the surface for a reason - to be released. Some of these emotions may have been stored deep down for a very long time. If and when they do present themselves to you, may I invite you to sit with them, enquire within as to what emotion is under that emotion, to feel it and to let it go. It goes to show that you no longer need to carry that around any more, find it...feel it ...and let it go to heal.
Healing is a process - you can feel worse before you feel better, but it's all worth it so please don't give up. I'm here for you - we're in this together - for the long term changes to working towards greater health and wellness for you because YOU DESERVE THIS!
Important Information
There will be a light snacks, herbal teas and Hi Vibe water for you to enjoy - BYO lunch
Food is not to be consumed in the healing space. We will close the healing room during breaks so we can reset the room. We encourage you to do whatever you need to do for you during the breaks. You’re more than welcome to chill in the back yard, spend some time out in the sun, journal, meditate or just BE. Remember this day is for YOU! Take the time to immerse yourself in you.
I ask that you please ensure you arrive back from your breaks at least 5 minutes before the next session commences. Please use your break times to use the bathroom.
